Surface Review and Letters (SRL), 2002, vol. 09, issue 01, 615-619

Abstract: Vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) continua emitted from a laser-produced plasma have been utilized for the spectroscopy of a solid state laser material. An absorption spectrum of0.1%Nd:LaF3has been measured by use of the continuum emission. The minimum absorption coefficient of1.4cm-1was evaluated at 174 nm.
