Abstract: We present analytical and numerical results on the relativistic calculation of the two-photon bremsstrahlung process. For the approximate calculation of relativistic free–free two-photon matrix elements in the central field, we applied the method based on the accurate treatment of the diagonal singularities in the relativistic free–free single-photon matrix elements. Numerical calculations are carried out with the Furry–Sommerfeld–Maue wave functions. The obtained results are compared with the results of the relativistic Born approximation.
