Abstract:
In this paper, pure andAu-depositedZnOnanoparticles with differentAucontent were prepared and characterized. The effect ofAucontent on the PL properties and photocatalytic activity ofCOoxidation was mainly investigated. The results showed thatAudeposition can greatly decrease the intensity of PL and enhance the photocatalytic activity ofCOoxidation, which may be attributed to the increased amounts of${\rm O}_{2}^{-}$and the formation ofO(orO-) onAu/ZnOsurface.
