Abstract: The film of poly (N-vinylcarbazole) (PVK) polymers and its composite film of PVK/C60 were prepared successfully by spin-coating method at speed of 1200rms for 30s. Atomic force microscopy (AFM), UV–Vis absorption spectroscopy and the photoluminescence (PL) were used to investigate the film structure and optoelectronic properties. The PL quench was observed for the PVK/C60 composite film. The current increased near three orders of magnitude under illumination for PVK/C60 composite film comparing with that in the dark through I−V measurement, which resulted from the electron transfer from PVK to C60.
