Investigation of seasonal fluctuations in Slovak hotel’s administration

Abstract:
This paper concerns seasonality in tourism. The reasons of seasonal fluctuations are classified. Methods that can be used in analyses of seasonality are discussed and applied. Aggregate data of accommodation facilities in Slovakia are used to show variability of seasonality types in Slovakia. Differences between progress in demand of Slovak and foreign visitors are shown as well as differences between progress in number of visitors and number of visitor’s stages. Corporate data of some Slovak hotels are also used to show differences in various kinds of Slovak hotels. Differences between seasonality in mountain and city hotels are characterized
