Factores claves en la Digitalización de las MIPYMES

Abstract: The objective of this article is to identify the key factors for the digitalization of MIPYMESin Ecuador. It begins with a literature review on the evolution and concept of digitization, characterizes Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and, through previous research, determines those elements that are considered essential for MSMEs to digitize.It is concluded that in Ecuador, the process of digital transformation is complicated; when compared with Latin American countries, it presents future limitations by not having an adequate ecosystem for the development of digital enterprises, due to the absence of data for optimal development analysis in a changing environment.Therefore, it is considered essential the support of the authorities and control entities, to establish public policies that allow the development of this tool, consideringthe internal and external influential factors.
