Abstract:
The subject of this research is sharing economy, which is a socio-economic phenomenon based on modern technology. The purpose of this paper is based on the terminological demarcation of the sharing economy that some authors classify as hybrid modalities starting from an analytic approach to creating and sharing value based on a participatory engagement and spending approach, the principles from which this concept derives advantages, ease of application and ease of entry, almost barrier-free. The analytic approach of case studies of the largest collaborative companies like Uber and Airbnb and the pragmatic conclusions are drawn from the correction, refinement and specialization of platforms for compatible transfer of product value to technology and in line with demand contribute to the work in reviewing scientific views on sharing economy, its relatively short histories but radical changes that have brought to commerce new products and principles that in some areas of trade have completely replaced the previous existing modalities of traditional trade. The critical approach that defines the new conditions is manifested in greater flexibility and efficiency in the market as a whole, as well as insufficient regulatory legal frameworks for entities in these markets across the EU and the Republic of Croatia, as well as the positive effects and socially acceptable statuses gathered by stakeholders and users, driven by responsible behaviour and sustainability development policies.
