Abstract:
Service industries hold an increasingly dynamic and pivotal role in today’s knowledge-based economies. The importance of services can hardly be exaggerated. For this reason in the European Union great importance is given to the strategy in support of innovation in services. Nowadays many instruments are created to promote innovation in service sector. New European Union member states have a lot to accomplish to reach the level of service innovation policy recommended by European Commission.
