Abstract:
The paper addresses the economic vulnerability, in general, and of the households of population in Romania; in particular, from the point of view of the main theoretical approaches and the connections with other economic concepts relevant for the assessment and characterization of standard of living, namely those regarding poverty, well-being, resilience. The analytical approach is based on a relatively expanded system of indicators gathered within a methodology taken from the international literature, adapted by the authors to the limitations posed by the availability of relevant statistical information and data
