Food Waste in Retail: Pitfalls and Actions

Abstract: Retailers play an important role for food waste occurrence or avoidance as the interface between the supply chain and the household. By avoiding three pitfalls and considering three actions, retail businesses can reduce food waste without conflicting with other SDGs, while improving customers' perception of companies.
