Agricultural vs. industrial development in LDCs

Emil Küng

Intereconomics – Review of European Economic Policy (1966 - 1988), 1972, vol. 07, issue 6, 177-180

Abstract: Since the beginning of concerted efforts for developing the Third World, the question has been whether the agricultural or the industrial sector of less developed countries (LDCs) should have priority. In trying to find an answer to this question, experts have hitherto paid too littie regard to the interdependence between the two sectors.
