Western Europe’s economic security

Wolfgang Hager

Intereconomics – Review of European Economic Policy (1966 - 1988), 1980, vol. 15, issue 4, 168-172

Abstract: “Economic security” has become a fashionable but rather loose lable covering the new uncertainties in the world economy. Dr. Hager makes an attempt at a narrower definition of the concept on the basis of which he analyses the threats to Western Europe’s security which result from its economic dependence on the outside world.
