Wirtschaft im Wandel, 2014, vol. 20, issue 6, 99-99

Abstract: Am 1. November 2014 habe ich die Leitung des Instituts für Wirtschaftsforschung Halle übernommen. Das Amt ist verbunden mit einem Lehrstuhl für Volkswirtschaftslehre an der Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg. Als in den Neuen Ländern beheimatetes wirtschaftswissenschaftliches Forschungsinstitut soll das IWH auch unter meiner Leitung weiterhin ein Advokat Ostdeutschlands bleiben und die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung sowie die Wirtschaftspolitik der ostdeutschen Länder und Osteuropas im europäischen Kontext kritisch begleiten.
