'New economy' - war da was?

Abstract: Betrachtet man die Entwicklung der Aktienkurse für Hochtechnologiewerte, scheint die „neue Ökonomie“ am Ende zu sein. Welche ökonomischen Vorstellungen und Erwartungen waren mit der „new economy“ verbunden? Inwieweit wird die „new economy“ in Zukunft noch eine Bedeutung haben?
