Abstract: Oft wird befürchtet, dass die Globalisierung zu einer erhöhten Schwankungsanfälligkeit besonders kleiner offener Volkswirtschaften führen könnte. Auch wird vermutet, dass die nationalen Konjunkturzyklen im Zeitalter der Globalisierung synchroner verlaufen als zuvor. Sind diese Vermutungen theoretisch plausibel bzw. empirisch belegt?
