Abstract: Die Anzahl der Unternehmensgründungen in Deutschland blieb im Jahr 2006 mit rund 252.000 neuen Unternehmen auf dem Niveau des Vorjahres. Während bei den Dienstleistungen die Anzahl der Unternehmensgründungen zum Niveau des Vorjahres insgesamt leicht anstieg, ging sie im Handel und im Baugewerbe zurück. In der Industrie blieben die Gründungszahlen konstant. Zu diesem Ergebnis kommt eine aktuelle Auswertung des ZEW-Gründungspanels.
