Abstract: Combining the Field, Capital, Habitus of Bourdieu’s Theory of Practice with the interpretation of prime minister’s press conference during 2015 to 2019, the paper attempts to find out appropriate ways of professional interpreters and successful strategies on different occasions for improving the performance of interpreters. Some suggestions are given by analyzing the professional interpreter Zhang Lu’s performance.
