Abstract: The experiment was conducted at Horticulture Farm of Agriculture and Forestry University, Rampur, Chitwan, Nepal from October, 2021 to March, 2022 to assess the postharvest quality parameters of six broccoli varieties. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with the six varieties Calabrese, Green Sprouting, Centauro, Century, Delight and Everest Green, each were replicated four times. Significant difference was observed among varieties on postharvest quality parameters. Significantly, lowest physiological loss in weight (14.75 %) and the longest shelf life (6.75 days) was obtained in Century during storage. Calabrese showed significantly the highest dry matter (12.89%) and quality parameters such as TSS (9.05 ºBrix) and vitamin C (83.46 mg/100 g). Thus, Calabrese was found to be best varieties based on their overall post-harvest qualities.
