Abstract:
Addressing climate change has become a global consensus, and governments around the world have been committed to relevant scientific research and technological development to enhance their capacity to respond to climate change. As a key technology of climate engineering, carbon capture and storage (CCS) can significantly reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions generated by fossil fuel use. Climate Engineering Management: Carbon Capture and Storage Technology Management aims to construct a theoretical system and methods for CCS technology management to promote the smooth implementation of CCS projects. Focusing on the development and management methods of CCS technology and drawing on successful experiences at home and abroad, this book conducts systematic and holistic research on relevant technology patents, economic evaluation, investment and financing management, standard formulation, risk management, business models, technology foresight and global layout.
