Abstract:
This year, the annual CERGE-EI economic survey of the Czech Republic focuses on the proposed fiscal reform and the imminent EU entry. The survey, edited by Dr.Stepan Jurajda and Dr. Libor Dusek and authored by a number of CERGE-EI faculty and junior researchers, covers all aspects of recent economic evolution as well as the most important political developments. In addition to fiscal-reform and EU-accession chapters, it includes detailed coverage of macroeconomic, enterprise-sector, labor-market and environmental issues, and provides a host of comparative statistics
