Forschungsschwerpunkte sind die politischen Systeme Deutschlands und der USA, Verfassungsgerichtsbarkeit, Opposition, politische Kommunikation sowie Politikfelder wie Innere Sicherheit, Familienpolitik und Migrationspolitik.
