Economic analysis of breach of contract, impossibility and delay

.

Chapter 14 in The Economic Analysis of Civil Law, 2022, pp 416-436 from Edward Elgar Publishing

Abstract: The following chapter examines problems arising from breaches of contract. These disruptions may consist of the debtor subsequently being unable or unwilling to perform her obligations or not to perform at the scheduled time. Particular attention is paid to cases where the debtor refuses to perform and thus breaks the contract.
