Abstract: Chapter 1 acts as the ‘Introduction’. The research questions regarding the sector evolution, technological diffusion and the function of the key elements of the solar PV sectors are put forward. The literature review is employed to highlight the starting points and the theoretical frameworks, and then the research methodology is structured for the whole research.
