Chapter 7 in Federalism in China and Russia, 2019, pp 167-175 from Edward Elgar Publishing

Abstract: This conclusion summarizes the main findings of the book. It also places the comparison of Russia and China into a broader comparative context, by comparing both countries to other large authoritarian states. Finally, it provides an outlook on the future development of China and Russia, and sums up possible directions for future research.
