Social entrepreneurial intention

.

Chapter 7 in Entrepreneurial Intention, 2020, pp 104-121 from Edward Elgar Publishing

Abstract: This chapter focuses on the entrepreneurial intention to be “other oriented†and provide benefits to others beyond the owners of the firm. Social outcomes, profit, and innovation are accepted as the “three pillars†of social entrepreneurship, and are modelled as the main motivators of social entrepreneurial intention. An empirical study is reported where attitudes to these three outcomes of social entrepreneurship are examined as antecedents of social entrepreneurial intention.
