Chapter 6 in Strategic Community Partnerships, Philanthropy, and Nongovernmental Organization, 2021, pp 40-45 from Edward Elgar Publishing

Abstract: The Central Corridor Anchor Partnership (CCAP) was established in 2012 as a way in which anchor institutions within the Minnesota-St. Paul region could work together to support the Twin Cities. CCAP is a group of colleges, universities, hospitals, and health care organizations located near the Green Line in Minneapolis-St. Paul. The partnership seeks to maximize the role that anchor institutions play within their own community, in order to benefit the anchors themselves as well as the local region. CCAP focuses on three main aspects of anchor-driven investment in the local community: workforce development, increasing local procurement, and public transportation growth and development.
