Abstract: This is a concluding chapter dealing with the relationship of the Regulation with other instruments, relation to previously concluded international conventions, exclusive external competencies of the EU and its consequences, bilateral agreements amongst the Member States and special rules relating to common courts of Member States, in particular in patent matters which is not yet applicable.
