The paper describes the story of Ridhima Pandey, a 12 year old from Uttarakhand, India, who approached the environment court in India, the National Green Tribunal, seeking specific directions to the Government of India to take science based, specific actions including carbon budgeting and target based climate recovery action plan for the country.
