Ethical value networks of organic food in Argentina: trajectories, trends and tensions

Navé Wald

Chapter 10 in Ethical Value Networks in International Trade, 2022, pp 166-180 from Edward Elgar Publishing

Abstract: This chapter identifies trajectories, trends and tensions within the organic food sector in Argentina. Attention is devoted to the certified organic sub-sector, utilising literature and official data. This sub-sector is contrasted with that of non-certified organic food, which exhibits different characteristics and values. Based upon this juxtaposition a number of critical and ethical questions regarding organic food and Ethical Value Networks are raised.
