Abstract:
This introduction reviews recent research on EU Securities Law. The 12 chapters comprising this Handbook fit within five themes. They describe the regulation on markets in crypto-assets, prospectus regulation, secondary markets, short selling, SME trading venues, sustainable finance disclosure, blockholder disclosure and takeover regulation. The chapters also address the differences between public and private enforcement and the role of third-party funding in securities litigation. The introduction summarizes the chapters that appear in the Handbook, offering insights on the evolving landscape of securities law research in the EU.
