Chapter 5 in The Social and Legal Impact of Autonomous Vehicles, 2025, pp 57-66 from Edward Elgar Publishing

Abstract: In Chapter 5 we outline the Part II discussion regarding economics. We further explain the possible (and probable) costs of driving (and not necessarily human driving) discussing the potential economic changes that autonomous vehicles will introduce, especially concerning (human) job loss. We further highlight the environmental costs of driving and its impact on our health.
