Abstract:
This introductory chapter outlines the vision for this volume. The objective from the outset is to engage readers with the latest research on intellectual property (IP) and innovation, covering a variety of IP instruments and a diversity of disciplinary perspectives. A synopsis of each contribution is provided, along with some contextual background and some themes behind the chapters. This chapter concludes with brief thoughts on how the contributions in the volume fit in with AI research.
