Abstract: This chapter introduces the concept of multidextrous M&A integration, defined as the ability to manage multiple post-acquisition integration strategies across three dimensions: coupling, coherence, and complexity, which shape how resources, capabilities, and business models are combined or kept separate. Using a novel framework, the chapter illustrates how firms can balance stability and change through resource orchestration, resource partitioning, and skunkworks.
