Abstract:
This chapter offers a commentary of Article 12 of the Service Regulation. Article 12 regulates the right of the addressee of a judicial document to refuse to accept it if it is written in a language that the addressee cannot be expected to understand, and establishes an obligation for the receiving agency to inform the addressee of his right to refuse to accept service.
