Abstract: This concluding chapter synthesizes the contributions of the Handbook on base of the pyramid (BoP) entrepreneurship. Put together, the contributions to this Handbook seek to not only provide a state-of-the-art overview of current knowledge on BoP entrepreneurship, but also to identify gaps in the existing literature, highlight promising directions for future research, and begin addressing these areas through the original contributions of the authors featured in this volume.
