Mapping the financial literature on CSR: a bibliometric analysis

Abstract: This chapter reviews the financial and economics-based research on corporate social responsibility (CSR) with an emphasis on the energy sector. Using bibliometric data of 1,535 research articles from the Web of Science (WoS) database, this study sheds light on the leading authors, articles, institutions, journals, countries and themes of CSR research over 30 years (1992-2022).
