Productive capital
.
Chapter 6 in Small Firms and U.S. Technology Policy, 2023, pp 44-53 from Edward Elgar Publishing
Abstract:
This chapter introduces alternative measures of what is called productive capital. This new variable category is presented within the context of a knowledge-based production function. More specifically, the elements of productive capital considered and quantified are human capital, experiential capital, and social capital. The presence of these elements of productive capital are characterized by the gender and minority status ownership of the firms.
