University collaborators on SBIR projects
.
Chapter 8 in Small Firms and U.S. Technology Policy, 2023, pp 70-77 from Edward Elgar Publishing
Abstract:
This chapter describes research collaborations between Phase II recipient firms and universities. An institutional and policy perspective about collaborative R&D is presented. Trends in such relationships are presented as well as correlations between project failures, by SBIR funding agencies, and the use of university resources in a collaborative manner.
