A chapter in Research Handbook on European Constitutional Law, 2026, pp - from Edward Elgar Publishing
Abstract:
This contribution offers an introduction to the subject of the Research Handbook, providing a concise overview of the 27 individual contributions, which are structured into four main parts. The introduction elucidates the rationale for presenting the latest research on the legal foundations of European integration from the conceptual, terminological and theoretical perspective of constitutional law. In particular, the introduction explains why the handbook offers an integrated view of European constitutional law, with a special focus on the inherent connection between the European and the national level.
