Abstract:
This chapter provides educators with effective teaching methods for lessons on managing agritourism businesses. It outlines the need to understand strategies for communicating the fundamental principles of agritourism, emphasizing the importance of forming partnerships and understanding various revenue streams in order to increase business success. The chapter also focuses on being aware of practical business skills such as cost analysis, business planning, and workforce and time management. Educators are guided on how to prepare future teachers to prepare others for the sector’s challenges and opportunities. The chapter helps prepare educators with the knowledge of why business planning and strategic management improve agritourism operations’ long-term viability and profitability.
