Dialogue 5 Simultaneity
.
Chapter 5 in Socratic Voices, 2023, pp 75-92 from Edward Elgar Publishing
Abstract:
The politico-moral appeal to reconciliation inevitably must take institutional form and substance, particularly in the institution par excellence, law. Can the moral drive be (made) compatible with the demands of institutions (qua default modes of meaningful action in a polity) or does it have to be sacrificed? Implications for political responsibility.
