Abstract: Conclusions try to provide some suggestions aimed at strengthening the role of the social actors in the governance of innovation. These recommendations were the result of a research and intervention process aimed at encouraging the exchange between researchers, experts and stakeholders. In order to strengthen the role that industrial relations and social dialogue can play in guiding digitalisation and innovation in the construction sector, the study came up with a number of suggestions and recommendations in favour of a digital just transition path, aimed at ensuring social inclusion, decent work and greater acceptance of the transition itself. The recommendations and proposals are divided into a series of relevant actions organised in four priority intervention areas concerning: policies and regulatory framework, work organisation, working conditions and new skills, industrial relations and social dialogue, the cultural dimension.
