Abstract: The Introduction to the Elgar Companion on Unidroit briefly provides some background on the objectives of the Companion as the concluding volume of a trilogy on the HCCH, UNCITRAL and Unidroit. It is a guide through the book’s structure briefly summarising and connecting the individual chapters, before adding some remarks on Unidroit’s current work programme and regulatory challenges ahead.
