Chapter 4 in The Footballization of China, 2023, pp 85-109 from Edward Elgar Publishing
Abstract:
In order to determine options for the evolution of football in China, this chapter aims at suggesting various frameworks and methodologies in this context. Marketing-Match-Training-Management. By determining metrics for performance measurement, China can subsequently assess which approach will provide the highest yield. As available data is scarce, the models have been validated using input obtained from personal interviews. In addition to the theoretical approach to be utilized in the various models, the author suggests the industry-driven method from Chinese successful corporations – most notably in the telecoms industry.
