Abstract: Regulation (EU) 2021/23 (CCP RRR) lays down rules and procedures relating to the recovery and resolution of central counterparties and rules relating to arrangements with third countries in the field of recovery and resolution of central counterparties. CCP RRR applies to central counterparties (CCPs), which are legal persons that interpose themselves between counterparties to contracts traded on one or more financial markets, becoming the buyer to every seller and the seller to every buyer.
