Chapter 48 in EU Banking and Financial Regulation, 2024, pp 490-495 from Edward Elgar Publishing
Abstract:
The IORP II Directive lays down the rules for the taking-up and pursuit of activities carried out by institutions for occupational retirement provision (IORPs). It also seeks to improve the way IORPs are governed, to ensure a higher level of transparency of retirement provisioning, informed personal financial and retirement planning, as well as to facilitate the cross-border activity of IORPs and the cross-border transfer of pension schemes.
