Abstract:
The PSD2 provides a comprehensive and harmonised legal framework on payment services, in order to make payments within the EU easy, efficient and secure. It sets out authorisation requirements for payment institutions located in the EU and establishes rules concerning the respective rights and obligations of payment service users and payment service providers.
