Abstract:
This chapter explores the integration of neuroscience into entrepreneurial education (EE) to address the persistent gap between theoretical instruction and practical entrepreneurial capability. It argues for a paradigm shift that leverages neuroplasticity and neural efficiency to enhance the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral dimensions of entrepreneurial learning. Drawing from empirical insights at the “Brain and Business Lab” and the “Neuroscience Lab” in Italy, the chapter demonstrates how tools like EEG, fMRI, and eye-tracking can support real-time feedback, stress management, and decision-making processes in EE programs. It also highlights the transformative potential of tailoring educational experiences based on individual cognitive profiles. The chapter contributes to an interdisciplinary framework that combines neuroscience with business pedagogy, offering innovative pathways to cultivate entrepreneurial resilience, creativity, and strategic thinking. Anchoring theoretical models in biological mechanisms, calls for continued collaboration between educators, neuroscientists, and practitioners to reimagine EE for the challenges of an evolving global economy.
