Chapter 7 in How to Conduct and Publish High-Quality Research in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, 2025, pp 77-86 from Edward Elgar Publishing
Abstract:
Abstract : What do we need to know about co-authoring? To answer this question, practitioner and academic fellows of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, members of the Society of Organizational Behavior, and junior and mid-level academics and practitioners were asked to share what they thought would be helpful for readers to know regarding the benefits, cautions, and challenges of collaborating with other academics, practitioners, and students. Their responses addressed advantages and disadvantages of co-authoring, characteristics of academic-practitioner and senior-student partnerships, and best practice issues.
