.
Chapter 8 in Predictability in Oil and Gas Investment Agreements, 2024, pp 263-271 from Edward Elgar Publishing
Abstract:
This is the final chapter which summarises and concludes the book. It consists of general conclusions summarising the arguments made in the previous chapters and addressing the research question overall. It draws conclusions on the clash between public and private international law norms, expressed under the principles of pacta sunt servanda, party autonomy, rebus sic stantibus, and permanent sovereignty, etc. to reflect upon the issues raised throughout the book.
